Q: How do I get involved and volunteer in the Neighborhood Rehab Project?

Q: Who do you help?

A: Senior adults, disabled, and low income individuals referred to our organization. We have an extensive assessment process we take each homeowner through to see if they qualify.

 

Q: Where do you get your referrals from?

A: From our web-site sign ups, neighbors telling neighbors, code enforcement, city wide advertising, and other non-profit organizations or churches.

 

Q: How do we donate financially?

A: Donate here!

 

Q: Where does my money go if I donate?

A: 10% to administration fees, 50% to materials, and 40% to direct project work and volunteer coordination.

 

Q: How do I get involved in your annual day of service?

A:  Starting July 10th, go to our landing page and sign up based on where you live.

 

Q: Can my company or team volunteer to do a project?

A:  Yes, just reach out to us at info@beatool.org and let us know how you would like to serve!

 

Q: What is Neighborhood Rehab Project?

A:  Neighborhood Rehab Project is an organization that facilitates all of the “Be a Tool” events.

 

Q: What is Be a Tool?

A:  “Be a Tool” was coined by volunteers shouting “I’M A TOOL!” before the Day of service.

 

Q: What is the Day of Service?

A:  An annual event that takes place throughout multiple cities that helps restore homes in need.
